Miss Sri Lanka 2007 for Miss World was held on September 27th at the Water’s Edge.Miss Maria Colombage was selected the winner and crowned Miss Sri Lanka 2007. She will represent Sri Lanka at the prestigious Miss World pageant to be held in Beiging, China this December. She wore a slinky white dress with midriff cut-out and a very low back which dipped below the waist. She was also awarded the mini titles 'Best Body' and 'Best Skin'. Narmada Ravihansi and Fallon Shilanthi were adjudged first and second runners up respectively.
The winner was crowned by reigning Miss Sri Lanka 2006 Danielle Kerkovan.
Maria Colombage, the new Miss Sri Lanka is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Watchout magazine.
